Nov. 14-15, 20-21-22: 8 PM curtain; Saturday matinee Nov 15 at 2:00PM with tea and sandwiches at 1:00PM, Tickets $18. There will be a 50/50 raffle also!

Tea and sandwiches will be served at 7PM with an 8PM curtain;  Thursday’s tea time will be at 6:30PM with show time at 7PM. All tickets $18.

The Farndale Avenue Ladies have become tried and true favorites with CAN-ACT audiences. Now the Frandale Avenue Townswomen’s Dramatic Guild Society are poised to conquer yet another dramatic idiom. The ladies are geared up to hop on board the SS Farndale Avenue for an excursion into the world of the thirties romantic comedy. The ladies prove that the age of elegance, glamour and enchantment is not dead… well, not quite anyway. Circumstances almost beyond their control threaten to wreck the evenings entertainment but thanks to the resourceful Mrs. Reece they go on to present a thrilling ship wreck and a stunning underwater sequence with interpretive dance numbers. Director MaLinda Gunderson says” Doing a Farndale is like hoping on a roller coaster, it is a wild and hilarious ride that takes you to new heights of comedy.”
Appearing in the show are Marilyn Gunderson as Mr. Reece, Rachel Schreffler as Felicity, Jailene Rose Samuels as Thelma, Lee VanderBoegh as Gordon, Dorraine Denney as Mrs. Pots, Marilyn Shake as Minnie, Tim Shreffler as the stage hand.

*CAN-ACT has recently lost its performance space but Thanks to the generosity and foresight of the City of Caldwell, CAN-ACT has a home for next season. It is good news bad news however, CAN-ACT will be able to us the space at 214 7th Avenue in Caldwell for the next season but after that they could be homeless again.

 “WE are still standing and the shows will go on.” According to president Marilyn Gunderson. She goes on to say, “We are focused on raising money so we can be in a position of security. CAN-ACT will present four family friendly fundraisers. And we are looking forward to performing in the new space by Indian Creek. WE feel so fortunate to be there.”
